Level 2 coach

Well I have had my level 2 coaching badge for a while now and looking to work part time as a cricket coach does anyone have any ideas how I can do this.

I have just done a successful summer camp for 7 - 11 year old's and regular coach this age group on Friday nights at our club.

I have done some schools coaching via Essex Cricket but I am not sure how much work they can give me as I know schools are having to watch there budgets which is a great shame.

If anyone as any ideas how I can progress then please let me know or even better if you can offer me some coaching please get in touch

rain ruined Saturday

Well Friday's rain ruined Saturday for me our new ground does not like the rain with the water just sitting on top of the wicket so we had no option other than having to cancel again then. We need to get this sorted out by next season.

Ladies cricket been watching the England ladies play and very well they are doing to but the pace of the bowling is something to be desired am I the only one who sometimes you can not tell the difference between spin or medium pace. Also they need to learn to hit the ball to the offside.

But they are very pleasing on the eye watching a lovely blonde running around than a hairy geezer full of tattoos so I am all in favour of more women's cricket on the telly.

The sun is shining

Well today looks a lot better and with it being Father's day I may just get away with watching the test match on the telly.
I hope England only bat first Session go for it big time put Sri Lanka into bat and then blow them away and all over today as tomorrow's forecast is not very good. Well that is my dream for today.

My son's broken arm is giving him the hump as we went over and watched the first team play and you could tell he is missing playing already. So a long 4 to 6 weeks in keeping him busy until the rehab.

All the best

Then disaster from nothing fielded of his own bowling throw the ball to keeper slipped and feel on his arm awkward. Next a lovely evening in A&E to find out he had broken his forearm. we got home around 1.30am he as English exam today so they should be interesting as it his right arm.
